MagLIA™ Bead Assay

Magnetic bead chemiluminescence immunoassays on dedicated Monobind analyzers. Now in final development for initial release.

What is MagLIA?

MagLIA™ is Monobind's next immunoassay platform. It moves the reaction from the microwell to magnetic beads and reads a chemiluminescent signal on a dedicated analyzer, bringing Monobind's assay design to fully automated testing. It joins AccuBind® ELISA and AccuLite® CLIA in the Monobind technology family.

How it works

Beads, magnet, light

  1. 1React on beadsSample and reagents react with coated magnetic beads in solution.
  2. 2Separate with a magnetThe analyzer holds the beads with a magnet while unbound material is washed away.
  3. 3Read the lightA flash chemiluminescent signal is measured and reported by the analyzer.
