When I founded Monobind in 1977, my vision was to create a diagnostics company that combined strong scientific expertise with the agility to innovate and adapt quickly to the needs of the market.

Founder Recognition

Honored for Advancing Medical Diagnostics

In 2024, Monobind Founder and Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Frederick (Rick) Jerome, who holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry, received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the USC Department of Chemistry in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the medical diagnostics industry through decades of scientific innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

Since founding Monobind in 1977, Dr. Jerome has helped advance immunodiagnostic technologies used by laboratories around the world, leading the development of innovative assay systems while fostering a culture of scientific excellence and continual innovation.
